Aquitance-France

In the year of 813, Charlemagne had only one surviving legitimate son named Louis the Pious and he was the king of Aquitance. He had the idea to call his son to his court to fulfill his agenda to make his son the co-emperor of his empire. He even crowned him with his own hands. Many believe this is because it was the years when he fell ill and was nearing his death. So, he wanted his legacy to live on even more. His son also continued on his policies of flourishing the new system of scholarship, literature, art, and architecture by learning about other countries, and their mistakes. 0 His son helped him bring in to contact all of the policies that Charlemagne had brought in from the other countries he conquered. Therefore, France got to have all the aspects of European countries that make them cherished today.
This is the picture of his court where he crowned his son.
